The Little Bo peep Triathlon has been an annual event run by Kenmare Triathlon club since 2006, Each yeah it has grown from strength to strength as more and more athletes have taken part.

“Ireland’s most scenic racecourse”

Killarney racecourse holds its annual July meeting from July 15th to July 18th this year. This festival is among the highlights on Ireland’s social calendar and is one of the best days out during the summer season. Killarney races combines the best horse racing with a fantastic festival atmosphere, not to mention good weather. It truly is an event for all the family whether you know your horses or just like to parade your finest clothes Killarney has it all. With a mixture of both national hunt and flat racing Killarney is the perfect preview of what your horse can do before he heads to Galway races later on in the season. The famous Killarney’s Ladies Day is Thursday July 18th, the perfect excuse to dress up and have some fun with the girls.
Kenmare town, a Jewel on the Ring of Kerry, is located a 20minutes drive from Killarney and offers a nice retreat from the bustle of Killarney. It is the perfect place to stop on your way home for a nice local bite to eat or maybe even a relaxing night away.
